Tom Van den Eynde graduated as an Industrial Engineer specialized in ICT (2003) from the De Nayer Institute. He started his carreer as a product manager in the hardware distribution sector, but being bitten by the information security virus he looks for opportunities to soon reorient his carrier.
In 2004, he started as a security engineer with C-CURE, a Belgian company specialized in design, implementation and management of corporate perimeters and internal networks. In this position he continued to heavily specialize in IT security and networking. Eventually, he became a senior security consultant and assistant technical manager at C-CURE, who handled a number of managed customers, designed and implemented security solutions, provided trusted advice for C-CURE’s customers and assisted in improving C-CURE’s technical operations.
In 2009, he embraces a new challenge as principal security consultant in the professional security services team at Verizon Business.
Besides a number of product certifications, he holds a CISSP, CISA and SANS GCIH certification.
